A Round-up from the Kreaverse
|
This week at Krea, we raised a toast to the indomitable spirit of women, and continued our ever-evolving discourse on gender roles, equity, inclusivity and diversity.
In an exclusive episode of The Krea University Podcast, our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nirmala Rao shared with us her powerful definition of being a woman, and enabling other women, through the lens of a woman.
Panel discussions took centre stage where academics discussed their journeys, and challenges and possibilities ahead as we aim for an equitable world.
As we write this, we are gearing up today for Gender Matters, a panel discussion, led by four women academics on how and why gender matters in their fields of study, both as a theoretical intervention and in the way that knowledge is produced.

The Centre for Writing and Pedagogy (CWP) at Krea University also conducted a virtual workshop called Like What? taking the participants through the uses of analogies in science communication and writing.
All this and so much more, this week from the Kreaverse.
