The essays explore the complexities and contradictions surrounding these issues, highlighting that there are no simple answers. Srinivasan challenges the notion of a 'right to sex,' demonstrating how this concept and sexual desire are intertwined with violence and influenced by patriarchy, state, capitalism, class, and race.
