A Round-up of the Kreaverse
|
We hope you are all safe and well. This week, we all have been left picking up the pieces in the wake of Cyclone Michaung. Krea members, at both the Sri City campus and in the Chennai admin office had no access to electricity, and telecommunication networks alongside heavy rainfall and winds.
Cyclone Michaung, like many other climatic events of the recent past, makes us sit up, think, and take action on critical issues surrounding climate change, urban infrastructure, and encroachment of natural resources. These are issues Krea academia and research centres are constantly working on and in the coming weeks, we will deep dive into literature and pertinent actions, together. Once again like many other occasions, we raise a toast to the indomitable spirit of the Krea community, working hard to bring back functions on track within the Kreaverse.
As life resumes normalcy, and classes return to full fervour, we are also filled with enthusiasm, gratitude, and optimism for the end of a remarkable year. In the coming editions, we will take you on a rewind tour of milestones and achievements that speckled in the Krea universe over 2023, and take some moments to reflect and rejoice. Until then, please take care and stay safe.
To catch a glimpse of the weekly happenings, read on. For real-time updates, please follow us on our social media channels. If you have stories or news to share with the Krea community, we invite you to connect with us at all.commsteam@krea.edu.in.
