A Round-up of the Kreaverse
|
As the students and faculty enjoy their well-deserved break on Krea campus, nature itself seems to be taking a deep breath. With the usual hustle and bustle temporarily on hold, the campus has a unique opportunity to embrace the serene beauty that surrounds it.
The vibrant greenery of the campus stands out more than ever, with lush trees swaying gently in the breeze and the soothing melodies of birds filling the air. The flowers bloom in all their glory, adding a kaleidoscope of colours to the landscape. This respite provides an opportunity for everyone to recharge, reflect, and connect with the natural world that is often overlooked in the midst of academic pursuits.
While the usual buzz and extracurricular activities may have momentarily taken a backseat, Krea's Admissions' process is in full swing. The Outreach team is actively engaged in reaching out to prospective Kreators and their parents through Discover Krea and Open House events, addressing their enquiries about Krea. At the same time, the IFMR Graduate School of Business (GSB) students are preparing for the ongoing placement and internship season.
Besides work, at the heart of Krea is the mental well-being of its family. As we marked World Mental Health Day (October 10), the latest post of our wellness campaign focussed on the mental health resources accessible on campus and how to make the best use of them.
The other core area that drives the vision of Krea is creativity. A myriad of innovative ideas are continuously brewing, eagerly awaiting their realisation. What you are currently skimming through is just a teaser. To stay updated on our latest developments, we encourage you to follow our social media channels.
In addition, if you have news or stories to share with the Krea community, don't hesitate to reach out to us at all.commsteam@krea.edu.in. We are here to listen and share the vibrant spirit of Krea with you.

The Science Club at the School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences (SIAS) at Krea University is driven by five goals. To develop an appreciation for the sciences and their influence in daily lives. To cultivate scientific temper, critical thinking, and the habit to question the world. To facilitate a problem-solving mindset via the organisation of fun activities and events with the aim of learning and exploration in a stress-free manner.
To bring to focus the importance of community in science by providing a platform where individuals from both STEM and non-STEM backgrounds can come together to understand and enjoy science in a community-driven manner by developing an atmosphere of open discussion which promotes the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and opinions in an accessible manner between peers and faculty alike. The team envisions a club where science is taken out of the textbook/classroom and put into action in the real world, thereby bringing to light its role as a bridge between them and the natural world.
On Krea’s social media platforms, in the coming week, we will give you a glimpse of the significant work done by the Science Club of SIAS over the recent months. Know more

Summer internships may be over but honestly, externships are here to stay. Externships are where students build professional experiences and portfolios by working 8 to 16 hours every week alongside their courses. In our week-long campaign, we, at Team Communications, with support from the Career Services Office (CSO), SIAS documented the narratives of our students where they candidly recounted their first days of stepping into the world of externships, shared invaluable insights, opend up about their apprehensions and obstacles, and distilled the profound lessons they've garnered along the way. In their stories, you will find inspiration and excitement, aplenty! View some of their stories here
